Rectified Scottish Rite – Inner Order
Beneficent Knight of the Holy City – Commander Collar
The Commander Collar of the Beneficent Knight of the Holy City (CBCS) within the Inner Order of the Rectified Scottish Rite is a distinguished emblem of chivalric dignity, Christian commitment, and spiritual responsibility. Designed in harmony with the noble and reformative character of the Rectified tradition, this collar reflects both the knightly heritage and the contemplative depth of the Order.
Crafted to the finest quality standards, the collar is made from premium natural silk, selected for its refined texture, durability, and elegant drape. The silk’s subtle sheen enhances its ceremonial presence while maintaining the dignified simplicity characteristic of the Rectified Scottish Rite.
With a traditional breadth of 11 cm, the collar offers balanced proportions, ensuring it sits correctly over the shoulders and allows the associated jewel to hang with precision and authority. Its structure provides both comfort and stability during Chapters, Convents, and formal investitures.
The collar is edged with a gold external braid, symbolising honour, fidelity, and the elevated responsibility of a Commander within the Holy City. The gold trim adds distinction while preserving the Order’s restrained and classical aesthetic.
The reverse is finished in red fabric, providing structural support and a striking contrast. The red backing represents zeal, charity, and the ardent Christian virtue expected of a Beneficent Knight — one who unites knighthood with moral rectitude and beneficence.
