Regalia Designs, Insignia & Intellectual Property | Luxe Regalia

Luxe Regalia supplies Masonic and fraternal regalia across a range of rites, degrees and constitutions. The symbols, names, insignia, embroidery, artwork and individual product designs associated with those traditions may be subject to intellectual-property rights or rules imposed by the relevant organisation.

Patents, designs, trade marks and copyright

Traditional regalia is not automatically patented or free from intellectual-property restrictions. In Australia, patents generally protect qualifying inventions; registered designs can protect the overall visual appearance of products; trade marks may protect distinctive words and logos; and copyright may protect original artistic works, such as drawings, photographs and some artwork used in embroidery. The protection and permission required depend on the specific item, rights holder and country.

Using a name to identify a degree, Order or constitution does not by itself establish that a product is officially licensed, endorsed, approved or supplied by that governing body. Any express claim of official status should be supported by evidence of the relevant authorisation.

Custom lodge aprons, emblems and artwork

When requesting custom aprons, lodge officer regalia, embroidered crests, lodge numbers, chapter emblems or other artwork, please tell us the relevant governing body and jurisdiction and supply approved design references where available.

Before asking for third-party or organisation-owned artwork to be reproduced, please ensure that your lodge or organisation has the authority or permission required to use it. We may ask for written approval, permission to reproduce a design, or clarification of any disputed or restricted symbol before agreeing to a custom order. A quotation or payment does not itself grant rights in third-party designs or trade marks.

Independent supply and jurisdictional suitability

Products referencing a particular lodge, Order, degree, rite or constitution are described to help customers identify their intended style or use. Such references alone are not representations of affiliation with, endorsement by, or official accreditation from a Grand Lodge, Supreme Council, Chapter or other organisation. Product design requirements vary. Customers should check current regalia specifications and permitted insignia with their own governing body before ordering.

Branded merchandise and product photographs

Third-party names, logos and branded designs may belong to their respective rights holders. Their appearance in a catalogue does not itself establish a licence or official partnership. For a particular item, please contact us if you require confirmation of the source, brand authorisation or applicable design rights before purchasing.

Do not submit images or artwork for reproduction unless you have the necessary permission. We respect legitimate intellectual-property concerns and welcome specific rights-holder enquiries at luxeregaliawebsite@gmail.com. Please identify the product or URL, the relevant right and evidence of ownership or authorisation so we can review the matter.
